East Bohemian company Charvát a.s. announced as winner in the 'large company' category and presented with the prestigious Czech Exporters Award
Dear Business Friends,
it is our honour to inform you that we have taken the main prize - 1st place - in the Czech Exporters Award in the category 'large company' for the year 2020.
This year, the expert jury chose from the 209 purely Czech-owned companies who were nominated and evaluated their economic indicators from recent years, their rating, and their story, which in Charvát's case primarily involves a family tradition going back almost a century. As you know, overseeing the progress, development and modernisation of the company is the current task of the fourth generation of the Charváts.
The Czech Exporters Award is a prestigious prize. The patron of the project is the eminent Czech economist, university professor, and former adviser to President Václav Havel, Tomáš Sedláček. The expert guarantor of the project is the ratings and scoring agency CRIF - Czech Credit Bureau. Within the category 'large company', the jury evaluated companies with an annual turnover of more than 500 million crowns.
